Our dog has two situations in which he can be a leader or not.
Always remember as in nature even in our little house there is only one leader for the pack !
Always remmber, if you not lead your dog, he will naturally take this place and then your situation can be very problematic.
A significant part of the behavioral problems that develop in dogs are caused by an owner who does not assume the role of leader.
It is important to put the dog boundaries and stand on them (and this applies to all members of the pack at home, yes yes our children are also part of the pack)
The borders you choose are very subjective and change from one owner to another, one is forbidden to climb on the couch, other one is forbidden to go up on the bed and the 3rd one allowed both and not allowed to approach the food in the kitchen.
No matter what the rules are in your house. You need to stand on them!
